Here you can really relax completely and leave the stressful everyday life behind! The well-maintained, well-equipped detached house is located about 5 km below Canillas de Aceituno, a white mountain village at the foot of the natural park with over 2,000 m high Mount Maroma, where there are several restaurants, banks and shops. A large shopping centre, several supermarkets and countless entertainment venues can be found in about 15 km away Vélez-Málaga or Torre del Mar. Casa Isidora is a "nest for two" in a south-west facing position with pool (8 x 4 m), several terraces and sitting areas in a beautiful, relaxing secluded location - far from the tourist hustle and bustle - amid idyllic countryside. The breathtaking panoramic view of the huge lake, the wide valley and the surrounding mountains immediately creates a sense of freedom and relaxation. Also the interior of the house promises relaxing holidays. The spacious living-dining room has a comfortable sofa in front of the large flat screen TV (40 ", satellite TV), air conditioning, Internet and a cosy dining area in front of the open kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob and oven. The bedroom has two single beds next to each other with orthopaedic mattresses for a good night's sleep. The shower room is a good size and is tastefully decorated. For further relaxation, the free use of a sauna (infrared) and a golf set are offered. The house is fully equipped, so that nothing is missing, which means there are also spices, cleaning and washing agents, board games and books, sewing kit and much more. A lovingly arranged welcome pack with drinks and food for "first aid" leaves you time to arrive and saves you the shopping right after arrival. The property is separated from the owner's home, ensuring privacy to guests. This is only "ignored" by several cats who like to visit. The in-house pool is in operation all year round and is primarily available to guests (the owners use it only if there are no tenants). The short way from the road to the house is concreted and easy to drive on. A car is required for this accommodation. |

Canillas de Aceituno is a municipality in the east of the province of Málaga, 61 km from the city of Málaga. It is a small village at the foot of the mountain La Maroma with a spectacular view over the wide valleys, the lake "Viñuela" and the surrounding mountains.
Canillas de Aceituno lies at the foot of the Sierra de Tejeda at an altitude of around 524 meters and is crowned by the summit of La Maroma at 2068 meters, the highest mountain in the province. It is a village with whitewashed houses, Moorish arches and narrow, flower-filled streets.
There are smaller shops and several TripAdvisor recommended restaurants - one better than the other!
The geographical position makes the place a natural balcony of the Axarquia. The road to the village leads through a landscape of olive groves, vineyards, almond and fig trees and offers views of the valleys of Vélez and Rubite.
On the hills or mountains you can see the paseros, the fields where grapes are dried to raisins. This abundance of trees is made possible by the rivers Almanchares, Bermuza and Rubite.
In the surroundings of Canillas there are numerous natural caves, especially to highlight is the Cueva de la Fájara, which has a length of about 1500 m and where springs the Rio Bermuza.
Canillas de Aceituno celebrates its Patron fiesta on the last Sunday of April in honor of the Virgen de la Cabeza. On this day more than 300 kilograms of black pudding are tasted, perhaps the oldest sausage, which contains blood as its main ingredient and is seasoned very delicious.
The other festivals of Canillas de Aceituno are:

- the pilgrimage of San Isidro, celebrated in mid-May
- the night of San Juan on June 24th (St. John's Night)
- the fair Ntra. Sra. Virgen de la Cabeza, which normally takes place in the second week of August
- the Light Fair, which will be celebrated on the 7th and 8th of September
- the Migas feast (breadcrumb festival)
