City tourism or beach holidays ? Here is the perfect combination !
In this spacious flat you are very close to the countless sights of Malaga and live still in a quiet, green part of the town.
The historic old town with its nice restored buildings, the cathedral and the traditional pubs and shops you reach walking within 20 minutes. From there in a distance of only 500 m is the harbour, where also the large cruise liners dock. Directly to the left and the right of the harbour extend the marvellous sandy beaches with their innumerable "Chiringuitos", the snack bars, which offer for little money tasty meals of fish and meat.
The well partitioned flat is located on the top floor of a nine-storey building with lift. The panoramic views from the living room and balcony, both orientated to the south, are stunning, while it's light and at night - You look over the complete town and the sea, you see in the east the "Gibralfaro" (castle buildings), in the south the cathedral and the harbour, in the west Torremolinos and direct in front of the building the green area with playground.
From the bedrooms you look virtually only at low white houses, which remind rather of the life in a Spanish village than of the large town Malaga.
The furnishing of the apartment is modern and comfortable. The living-dining-room disposes of air conditioning and a flat screen TV (also English channels). In the kitchen with fitted furniture, electrical hob and small dining area is also the washing machine. The three bedrooms are relative spacious and equipped with wardrobes and comfortable beds. The bathroom consists of a large shower cabin, a spacious washbasin and WC.
In the ground floor of the building is a small café, which is famous for its substantial and reasonable breakfast. In the nearness are more small shops and a bus stop, a large supermarket is in a walking distance.
You can put your car safe and protected in the garage of a building in the vicinity.

Because of the pleasant Mediterranean climate every season is the right time to visit Malaga. This business and trading town at the Mediterranean Sea with around 600.000 inhabitants is the second-biggest town of Andalusia and capital city of the province Malaga. The townscape is livened up with many parks, circular flower beds and green areas.
Malaga is always an interesting and varied city, which offers not only the culture enthusiast countless architectural and artistic treasures, but also presents to the beach friend long and wide sandy beaches. It is the perfect place for combining a city trip with beach holidays !
In the historic old town district of Malaga is united the architecture of various centuries. A main attraction is of course the cathedral of the 16th century, one of Spain's most significant renaissance churches.
In the heart of the historic town centre runs the "Calle Larios", where are the best shops of all sorts and an unbelievable number of traditional pubs. It is regarded as the business and social centre of Malaga. This nice street is - like many of its side streets - pedestrian precinct and leads almost to the harbour, where mostly you get to see one of the big cruise liners.
An eye-catcher of Malaga is the Castle of Gibralfaro, the remains of a Moorish castle complex on the top of a hill. From here you have stunning views over the entire town, the bullring, the harbour and the sea. A bit below is the "Alcazaba", the belonging fortress. Both castles you can visit with or without guide. Malaga offers more than 20 museums, which nearly all lie quite close together and therefore can be reached easily on foot. Don't believe that museums must be boring ! The variety of museums is great. Apart from the Picasso museum there are also a vine museum, a car museum, a glass museum, a Holy Week museum, an interactive music museum, an airport museum and many more.
Who derives pleasure from plants and flowers can also stroll through the 5 Botanical Gardens of Malaga. Especially noteworthy is the extensive garden "La Concepción" in the north of Malaga. It is a romantic park with winding ways, ponds, waterfalls, brooks and lush, partly tropic vegetation, which includes wonderful rubber trees, palms and even some spectacular Araucaries.
A special feature constitutes the district "El Palo / Pedregalejo" in the east of Malaga. Here are several language schools, where you can learn intensely and fast Spanish. The sandy beach is very popular with the Spaniards and consists of many bays following one another. Here on the beach are - like everywhere - countless restaurants and bars. But standing out is "El Tintero", a restaurant without menu. Instead the waiters carry the immeasurable variety of fresh fish dishes through the restaurant and offer them like at an auction. Who wants to eat the meal lets the waiter know. You have to see it !
Because of the large number of restaurants and pubs the town offers a varied range of culinary delights for every budget. Just the same it is with the possibilities of entertainment. During the day you can stroll through the streets, enjoy culture and history, bath in the sea or in an aquatic park, visit the tapas-pubs and restaurants. At night it is just the right thing for a romantic stroll on the promenade for watching the lights of the town and of the fishing boats on the sea or for going on a tour of the pubs, discotheques and terraces, where you can enjoy all kinds of music, including live music.
